I have completed my level 6 certificate in Creative Supervision of Practice across the age range and can offer Creative Supervision either face to face or via Zoom video meetings.
I use an integrated style, consistent with my integrative Art Psychotherapy orientation with children, young people and adults. I am informed by attachment, trauma and creative theories. I will ensure that the principals of the supervisory alliance are included in my practice. This means I aim to balance support & challenge in the sessions and encompass the formative, normative & restorative functions (Proctor, 1986; Inskipp & Proctor, 1995) in the supervisory work. My supervision approach is guided by Hawkins & Shohet’s (2012) Seven-Eyed Model for supervision. I am also informed by the Cyclical Model of Supervision (Page & Wosket, 2001). Where possible, I will aim to include art making/ sand tray or other creative methods as part of the supervision sessions.
I welcome inquiries about Creative Supervision support. Please include your modality of work; client group and contact information in your query.
